SUPREME COURT HAS HELD THAT A VICTIM CAN FILE AN APPEAL IN THE HIGH COURT AGAINST THE ACQUITTAL WITHOUT SEEKING LEAVE TO APPEAL.
Mallikarjun Kodagali (Dead) Represented Through Legal Representatives Vs State Of Karnataka & Ors , (2018) 10 SC CK 0035 Supreme Court has held that a victim can file an appeal in the High Court against the acquittal without seeking leave to appeal.
